BILLINGS – An extended period of warm, dry and occasionally breezy weather ahead.
Temperatures will take a pretty good jump upward Wednesday, despite more cloud cover in the morning. Clouds will generally decrease in the afternoon, and shift a bit towards Eastern Montana and the Western Dakotas.
High temperatures for the next week look to stay mainly in the 40s, with overnight readings mainly in the 20s to low 30s. Seasonal averages would run about 10° colder than this.
A few disturbances could bring some mountain showers, but the lower elevations look to stay dry through the period. It will be breezy at times especially in the mountain foothills, but no strong wind events look likely.
