BILLINGS- No big surprises looking ahead, as cold temperatures continue.
Periods of light snow showers in the morning taper off, but the cold temperature stick around Thursday. High temperatures will stay mainly into the teens with decreasing afternoon clouds.
Expect a partly to mostly cloudy overnight, with temperatures mainly in the single digits below zero early Friday. Despite some afternoon sun, temperatures only make it to the 20s and most of the area Friday afternoon.
The warmest day is shaping up to be Saturday with highs in the upper 20s to low 30s.
But snow showers redevelop Saturday night, and Arctic air rushing into the area will keep temperatures only in the single digits for the highs Sunday through Tuesday. Overnight temperatures will drop below zero consistently, with off and on light snow showers possible each day.
There still appears to be no break in the colder than average weather pattern through at least the first few days of March.
